Founded in its namesake’s neighborhood, Sunset Taxi Service is a surf music band that touches on all eras of salty sounds. Fronted by multi instrumentalist Patrick Byers and featuring session pros Toads Marcelino on bass and James Stafford on drums, their sounds cover the spectrum of what one might hear on a surf adventure. From Dub to Cumbia to Bossa Nova, of course including classic surf rock and a sprinkle of punk, Sunset Taxi Serevice keeps variety and sonic surprises at the forefront of their sound.
