"Magnolia" is inspired by both white Magnolia flowers and the beauty this word beholds as a name. When I found this log of wood, I could not leave it behind and knew this was meant for a very special vase. I am always attracted to tall form surfaces and love making tall vases over them. They always find the perfect spot on narrow walls in my house, elevating an otherwise overlooked space- imagine a sleek wall between two windows or the pillar between two doors. It is also special because it perfectly beholds my favorite color in the palette - greens.
